Tolls scandal - the fight goes on
This is the site of a campaign to cancel the Humber Bridge debt, and to abolish or reduce tolls to a reasonable
level. We aim to inform and persuade people to protest against the
tolls, which are currently the highest of any river crossing in
Britain. They harm local residents, businesses, commuters and the local
economy as a whole.
Email us if you like. Over 8,000 people signed our petition on the 10 Downing Street website. Since then, there has been major growth in public awareness of the unfairness of the tolls, and growing opposition to them. This has been supported by research, and support from many bodies and individuals. There has been progress as a result, but this needs to be sustained, and the fight must go on.
